Overview:
Wheeler Staffing Partners is seeking an IAM Support Engineer to join our team. This temporary role offers full benefits and is intended to convert to a permanent full-time position once the fiscal year begins in September. Our client has recently implemented SailPoint and requires additional support during the post-production phase. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with SailPoint, excellent communication skills, and the ability to drive process improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
- SailPoint Support: Provide support for SailPoint IdentityNow by collaborating with key technical teams across the enterprise to understand and address technology requests and business complexities.
- Policy and Procedure Reviews: Participate in regular reviews of IAM policies, standards, and procedures to ensure compliance with governance controls and improve the IAM program's maturity.
- Break/Fix and Change Management: Respond to break/fix requests, monitor the environment, and support change management processes for development, QA, and production environments.
- Automation: Identify opportunities to develop scripts for automating engineering tasks, minimizing manual work, and ensuring high-quality, consistent output.
- Technical Expertise: Apply expertise in software development integration, particularly with Identity, Credential, and Access Management (ICAM) solutions, including SailPoint, Azure, and Duo products.
- Development Skills: Utilize development experience with PowerShell, Python, Java, REST, and JSON.
Skills and Knowledge:
- SailPoint IdentityNow Experience: Must have hands-on experience with SailPoint IdentityNow.
- Identity Management: Solid knowledge of identity data flows, engineering workflows, security roles, certification/attestation, entitlement management, SOD, and access governance in SailPoint.
- Professional Experience: At least 5+ years of professional Identity Management (IDM) experience with a demonstrated understanding of modern IDM concepts and best practices.
- ITIL Knowledge: Working knowledge of ITIL disciplines.
- Process Documentation: Ability to produce high-quality process documentation for knowledge transfer.
- Automation and Delivery Focused: Strong adoption of automation philosophies with the ability to drive tasks forward and meet deadlines.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem investigation and diagnosis skills.
- Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, both internally and externally.
Experience and Education:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree required or additional experience in lieu of education.
- Professional Experience: Minimum of 7 years in the information technology field, including systems administration, technology consulting, technology system design and support, or other closely related experience.
